Nib International Bank (NIB) would like to invite qualified and competent applicants to apply for the following post.

Nib International Bank (NIB) was established on 26 May 1999 under license no. LBB/007/99 in accordance with the Commercial Code of Ethiopia and the Proclamation for Licensing and Supervision of Banking Business Proclamation no. 84/1994 with the paid up Capital of birr 27.6 million and authorized capital of Birr 150 million by 717 Shareholders. The Bank commenced its operation in 28 October 1999 by 27 employees. It joined the banking industry as the sixth private bank licensed in the country.

Other than rendering fulfilled Domestic and International Banking services, the Bank implemented Mobile and Internet Banking through which it issues NIB cards. The Bank has placed its ATM’s at various locations throughout the Country to provide its diversified products in convenient ways to esteemed customers. Moreover, to enhance the application of modern banking technologies and provide competitive service via a wide range of card banking services, the Bank has established a strategic partnership with MasterCard, VISA and Union Pay branded cards which is one of the breakthroughs to provide international payment service.

With a view to introduce new types of products, other than the previous innovative products and services, Nib Mar Saving, NIB Social Saving, NIB Donation Saving and NIB Entrepreneur’s Saving were developed. In addition, the Bank is working with Tele Birr and E-birr (Product name – NIB E-birr) to be a better competitor in this digital world of banking.

Position :1. Junior Customer Service Officer

Job Requirements:

Educational Qualification: B.A Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Banking & Finance or related fields of study

Work Experience & Required Skills: 1 year of relevant work experience (Banking experience is preferable)

Salary: Per the Salary Scale of the Bank and attractive fringe benefits.

Place of work: Gebre Guracha Branch

Position :2. Customer Service Officer

Job Requirements:

Educational Qualification: B.A Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Banking & Finance or related fields of study

Work Experience & Required Skills: 2 years of relevant work experience (Banking experience is preferable)

Place of work: Addis Ababa

Position :3. Branch Manager I

Educational Qualification: B.A Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Banking & Finance or related fields of study.

Work Experience & Required Skills: 6 years of banking work experience of which 2 years as Business Manager, Operation Manager, Customer Service Manager or equivalent core banking business related job positions.

Place of work: Gebre Guracha Branch

Position :4. Attorney

Educational Qualification: LLB Degree in Law

Work Experience & Required Skills: 4 years of relevant work experience of which 2 years as Associate Attorney and experience in Foreclosure area has an advantage.

Salary: Per the Salary Scale of the Bank and attractive fringe benefits.

Place of Assignment: Credit Monitoring and Portfolio Management Department at Head Office

Position :5. Senior Attorney

Job Requirements:

Educational Qualification: LLB Degree in Law

Work Experience & Required Skills: 6 years of relevant work experience of which 2 years as Attorney and experience in Foreclosure area has an advantage

Place of Assignment: Credit Monitoring and Portfolio Management Department at Head Office

Position :6. Principal Attorney

Job Requirements:

Educational Qualification: LLB Degree in Law

Work Experience & Required Skills: 7 years of relevant work experience of which 2 years as Senior Attorney

and experience in Foreclosure area has an advantage

Place of Assignment: Credit Monitoring and Portfolio Management Department at Head Office

Position :7. Manager, Data Strategy And Analytics

Educational Qualification: M.A/B.A in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, and Finance or other related fields.

Work Experience & Required Skills: Minimum of 8/10 years banking experience, of which 3 years in a supervisory role. Experience in T24 core banking implementation, and credit and retail banking operations is mandatory.
