Job Description
We need a translator from the Chinese language to Amharic and English. The ideal candidate will ensure the original meaning, tone, and context are preserved while adapting translations for cultural relevance.
Place of work: Addis Ababa
Salary: Negotiable
Quantity Required: 1
Duties and Responsibilities:
Converting written materials like documents, reports, websites, and emails from Chinese to another language (e.g., English, Amharic) and vice versa.
Providing real-time interpretation during meetings, conferences, and other events, either simultaneously or consecutively.
Recognizing and conveying cultural nuances to ensure effective communication.
Investigating terminology and ensuring accuracy in specialized fields.
Collaborating with clients to clarify requirements and ensure satisfaction.
Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering and related fields of study with relevant work experience
Learned in china country above 3 years by any fields (experience china’s language translator in manufacturing industry)
Experience: 2-4 years’ experience in chines language translator (Manufacturing industry experience is preferable)
