Dodai Manufacturing Plc (Dodai) is a newly established company, launched in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on August 1, 2023. As a rapidly growing business, Dodai’s mission is to make e-mobility accessible across Africa through its innovative products and services.

Position 1: Junior People and Administration Officer

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Management, or a related field.
• 0 to 1 year of relevant experience in a dynamic and fast-paced work setting.
• Strong communication skills in both written and spoken formats.
• High-level analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently.
• Self-motivated, able to prioritize tasks, and perform under pressure with accuracy and commitment.
• Familiarity with Ethiopian labor laws and regulations.
• Proficient in basic digital tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and email platforms.

Position 2: Customer Engagement Officer

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Business, Customer Service, or a closely related discipline.
• 1 to 2 years of work experience in customer-facing roles such as customer support or call centers.
• Background in tech, mobility, logistics, or retail industries is a plus.
• Experience using CRM or customer service tools like Zoho Desk, Freshdesk, or Zendesk is desirable.

Required Skills:

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Skilled in active listening and effective problem resolution.
• Comfortable using phones, live chat, and support software.
• Capable of multitasking in fast-moving, high-demand environments.
• Maintains composure and professionalism in challenging customer interactions.
• Basic knowledge of data entry and report generation using tools like Google Sheets or CRM platforms.

Position 3: Customer Success Officer

Educational Background:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any field is required.
• Additional certifications or qualifications in mechanical/electrical engineering or automotive repair are an added advantage.

Work Experience:

• Prior experience in customer service, administrative duties, or technical support is preferred.
• Experience working in maintenance or workshop settings, particularly with electric bikes, is a plus.

Technical Proficiency:

• Basic understanding of e-bike systems, mechanical components, and general repair methods.
• Competence in using office applications such as Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Experience with CRM systems or maintenance tracking tools is beneficial.

Position 4: Quality Assurance Supervisor

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a similar discipline.

Experience:

• At least 2 years of practical experience in quality assurance or control, ideally in a manufacturing or assembly setting.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing or supervising quality teams, including assigning tasks and evaluating performance.
• Hands-on experience with inspection tools and systems for classifying or grading defects.

Key Competencies:

• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in applying inspection standards.
• Understanding of core quality tools like inspection checklists and root cause analysis (e.g., 5 Whys).
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with teams in production, warehouse, and maintenance.
• Leadership capability with the ability to mentor team members on the job.
• Basic computer literacy in tools like Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and reporting.
