1. Position: Manager – Trade Marketing & Sales Division
Qualification & Experience:
BA Degree in social sciences or business preferably in Marketing, Marketing management, Economics, Business Administration, plus, a minimum ten (10) years’ related experience with at least three (3) years’ at supervisory role.
• Masters in a Business-related course (an added advantage).
• Training on Marketing Management (added advantage)
Job Summary:
The jobholder is responsible for managing the Marketing Strategy of the Bank, this role will rigorously focus on executing the Bank’s trade marketing strategy and the brand building execution framework of Awash Bank S.C. The Trade Marketing and Sales Manager will be responsible for implementing the Awash bank trade marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and increase brand awareness. S/he will work closely with the other marketing department team members to identify new business opportunities. Moreover, he/she works closely with other teams to develop various types of trade marketing campaigns.

2. Position: Manager – Branding & Promotion Division
Qualification & Experience:

Job Summary:
The jobholder is responsible for the planning, management, and execution of all branding and promotion initiatives and the day-to-day functions of the Division. Implements a branding and promotion program that is in alignment with the overall bank’s strategic objectives. Collaborates with third party marketing firm (as needed) with the development of advertising strategies, retain, and expand relationships with customers and identified target segments. Schedules local media buys with vendors, negotiating rates and/or contracts. Evaluates advertising proposals presented by vendors. Assures all forms of advertising meet compliance requirements and keeps marketing records for bank audits and exams as required. Manages the marketing development, advertising, and contributions budgets. S/he builds a corporate image to maintain a reputation of quality.

3. Position: Manager – Graphic Design & Documentation Division
Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Computer Science, Architectural Engineering, Film Production, Cinematography, or IT related field plus, a minimum of ten (10) years’ relevant experience of which three (3) years in supervisory position.
Job Summary:
The jobholder is responsible for overseeing and driving the strategic direction of the Bank’s visual communications including graphics, illustrations, and video content. S/he ensures the Bank’s marketing, communications, and branding initiatives are supported by innovative, high-quality creative outputs that enhance the Bank’s visual identity and brand image. Serving as the lead creative expert, s/he provides visionary leadership, manages high-level design projects, establishes design standards, and mentors the design team. S/he collaborates with senior stakeholders to align visual content with the Bank’s strategic objectives and ensures brand consistency across all platforms, positioning the Bank as a leader in visual excellence. The jobholder is responsible for instituting standard documentation and managing digital and physical documents of the bank. Edit and mix audio elements, including dialogue, music, and sound effects, to ensure high-quality audio for video projects. Handle camera on some occasions and capture footage as and when required for the video content.
In addition, creating and maintaining documentation, ensuring accuracy and clarity, adhering to style guides and standards, managing documentation repositories, organizing and maintaining documentation in a central repository (e.g. a content management system, wiki, or shared drive) is essential for easy access and version control. gathering user feedback, localizing documentation, keeping up with industry trends, managing the documentation ling documentation throughout its lifecycle.

4. Position: Manager – Communication & Event Management Division
Qualification & Experience:
BA Degree in Communications/Public Relations/ Journalism and related fields plus, a minimum ten (10) years’ relevant experience with at least three (3) years’ at supervisory role.

Job Summary:
The jobholder is responsible to plan, organize, and direct events, communication and corporate social responsibility activities of the Bank. S/he studies and carries out public relation tasks to improve public awareness and understanding of the Bank; upon approval from the supervisor, prepares and releases various newsworthy information regarding Bank’s services. The jobholder builds the corporate image to maintain a reputation of quality service and to promote trust and establish confidence with customers and employee. S/he coordinate press conference and public interviews, handles unfavorable news, reports, rumors, stories and events against the Bank.

5. Position: Brand Manager – Digital Banking
Qualification & Experience:
BA Degree in Marketing, business or equivalent field plus, a minimum of eight (8) years’ related experience.
Job Summary:
The jobholder is responsible for coordinating digital marketing activities including planning and execution and prioritizing of digital marketing activities. In addition, she/he works closely with various directorates to ensure that products meet customer satisfaction goals. She/he continually collect and analyses relevant market and competitor information and identify threats and opportunities.

6. Position: Brand Manager – Retail & SME Banking
Qualification & Experience:
BA Degree in business related fields preferably banking operations plus, a minimum of eight (8) years’ related experience.
Job Summary:
The job holder is responsible for attracting, deepening and managing financial relationship to meet deposit and loans growth goals, achieve business growth for the Bank by selling SME Banking Unit products within assigned market segment, and by promoting and selling other products and services of the Bank to enhance value-add relationship with existing customers. This incorporates prospecting and acquiring new customers, and pursuing incremental business within the existing customers, as well as managing customer expectations to sustain the business relationship

7. Position: Brand Manager – Interest Free Banking (IFB)
Qualification & Experience:
BA Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field plus a minimum of eight (8) years’ related experience.
Job Summary:
The Jobholder is responsible for IFB product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with various work units to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. S/he ensures that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals. She/he checks appropriateness of estimation of the market value of collateral, loan properties, and ensures its genuineness vis-a-vis approved plans and title deeds by assessing the estimation reports of collateral valuation maker.

Qualification & Experience:

Job Summary:
The Job holder is responsible to review the contents produced for publications or sharing information using various media including websites. This includes reviewing all content produced and ensuring that they meet the required standards. He/she is also responsible for checking facts, spelling, grammar, and punctuation. The Job holder should demonstrate high level of capability in editing English, Amharic and Afan Oromo languages.
